Distribution of compensation checks on land acquisition in Harirampur

Nearly 1 crore 4 lakh taka has been handed over to the landowners through 6 checks of land acquisition project under the establishment of a technical school and college in Harirampur upazila of Manikganj. On Monday morning, a check was handed over to the landowners for the compensation of the land acquisition case on the occasion of Mujib Year 2021 at the place occupied by Manikganj district administration adjacent to the Kachua Bazaar of Chala Union of the upazila. Manikganj Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous was present at the check distribution function chaired by Harirampur Upazila Executive Officer Sabina Yasmin.Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Shahina Akhter, Land Acquisition Officer. Manjur Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Upazila) Md. Bilal Hossain, Harirampur Anti Corruption Committee President Mir Abdul Wadud and local public representatives and prominent people were present. It is to be noted that a check of 20 applications for land acquisition project has already been distributed in Kundura Mouza and according to the account, the division of land has been informed by the letter that the division of land is not correct. Which will soon be compensated with an amendment of the award through Miss Case.
